HELP PAGES - Q & A
-
Q - Where can I buy a Fun from?
-
A - Many appear on eBay, but
also check other sites such as Auto Trader.
-
Q - Where can I get a canvas
cover for the rear seats and / or load area?
-
A - These are available in
green or yellow from the Fun club, contact Leon Moss at
leon.moss@virgin.net -
Tell him Oz sent you.
-
Q - How can I repair the wooden
slats in load area?
-
A - Prevent damage by
varnishing with a yachting spec varnish, replace with a Skoda kit,
or get new items made. Does anyone have the dimensions of each
piece?
-
Q - I'm paying a lot or finding
it difficult to insure my Fun, where can I get it cheaper?
-
A - Some brokers have deals
with Skoda Owners Club GB, check the website for details.
-
Q - The brakes on my Fun are
not too good, how can I improve them?
-
A - Get a pair of drilled /
slotted discs from an aftermarket trader and fit better spec brake
pads. Insurance company may need to be informed.
-
Q - The plastic body parts are
damaged, am I able to buy new ones?
-
A - As the cars are still under
ten years old, Skoda UK should still supply these parts, however
they are not cheap. I have a source in the Czech Republic who makes
replica parts, please contact me if you require help.
